- Afternoon

in chateu de Parthey.
- We
discuss our week activities around aperitif and welcoming
dinner.
Monday
to Friday
After Breakfast of fresh pastries, fruits from our garden,
etc., we will take off to a chosen site to paint:
- CHATEAU-CHALON,
a medieval village in the midst of the Jura Vinyards.
Or
Hike aroud waterfalls in the Jura Mountains.
- BEAUME-LES-MESSIEURS,
an ancient abbey in a spectacular valley.
- ARC-ET-SENANS,
a jewel of 18th century architecture.
- DIJON,
capital of the Ducs of Burgundy
- great
museum
- old
streets
- 11th
century churches, etc
- ORNANS,
where COURBET lived and painted.
The lanscape which made him famous is still the same for
us to paint.
- CHAPEAUROUGE,
where you will be transported magically back into the
middle ages. Everything has been preserved.
THE HOUSE and its PARK was designed in 1800 in the romantic
fashion with the help of VIOLET LE DUC, architect in the
19th century.
We
will have lunch at home everyday or a picnic will be provided
on site. At 5pm we will relax at home with an aperitif and
dinner made of fresh produce from our garden and local fresh
markets.
On Friday, your last evening will be filled with a gala
dinner, music and fun.
SATURDAY
After a lazy breakfast we will say au revoir to new
and old friends....
The
cost is $2100 or 1750€ PER PERSON PER WEEK.
All meals are included with one aperitif and a bottle of
wine per person. A bar will be open at your own expense.
Transportation and pick up at the train station of DOLE
is provided.
All bedrooms are comfortable and refined, with shared bathrooms
for every two people.
A minimum of 6 people is required for each session to be
held.
